УДК 339.97; 339.923 JEL: F33 1Institute for Economics and Forecasting of the NAS of Ukraine, Research ID : http://www.researcherid.com/rid/ “CORONA-TEST” OF THE FINANCIAL SYSTEM OF UKRAINE: EXTERNAL THREATS After the global financial crisis of 2008–2009, experts waited for a new crisis almost every year, with particular concern in 2020. Quarantine measures taken to counter the coronavirus pandemic significantly worsened the functioning of financial institutions and created additional burden. Thus, they played the role of a kind of “corona-test”, which tested the stability of the financial system. This applies to both the world financial system and the financial system of each individual country, including Ukraine.
