The components of the new economy are innovation, the growth of social orientation of the technologies created, the general nature of the availability and use of knowledge, technologies, innovative products and services. Thus, the long-term competitiveness of the regional economy is ensured by the transition to a “knowledge economy”, the priorities of which are the development and spread of information technologies, as well as the development and widespread introduction of innovations and investments in the formation of human capital.
