PROBLEMS OF ECONOMIC THEORY УДК 330.101 JEL: 1Academy of Financial Management, Research ID : http://www.researcherid.com/rid/ NEOLIBERAL MARKET MODEL AND ITS IMPACT ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF UKRAINE It is revealed that the liberal mainstream, which represents the defining direction in fundamental economic theory, in the current conditions of transition from industrial-market to information-network economy and development of digital technologies does not want to leave its dominant place. Based on the factual data, the negative impact of this theory is shown, which, due to the economic policy pursued by the Ukrainian authorities, destroys not only the economy but also the cultural and social values of our people. Ukraine's current socio-economic format does not allow it to fight for a “place under the sun” in the development of digital technologies and redistribution of technological rents. It is proved that the use of neoliberal economic theory contributed to the fact that the world economy began to have a pronounced rental character. Proof of this is the fact that countries with inefficient economies due to the opening of national economies have a declining world rent. As for countries with highly developed economies, they receive a growing world rent.
