CRITIQUE AND BIBLIOGRAPHY УДК JEL: 1Institute for Economics and Forecasting of the NAS of Ukraine, Research ID : http://www.researcherid.com/rid/https://www.scopus.com/authid/detail.uri?authorId=56074285600 ECONOMIC JUSTIFICATION OF THE NEW STATISTICAL PARADIGM The content and the scientific contribution of the monograph “Economic-Information Imperative of the New Statistical Paradigm” by A.A. Grytsenko in economic theory and statistics is revealed. It is shown that, in the conditions of transition to the information-network economic system, the statistics which have been formed on the basis of industrial-market economy cease to adequately reflect a reality and needs new paradigmatic approaches. The approach proposed in the monograph to the development of economic systems and their inherent quantitative and statistical measurement of economic phenomena and processes is assessed: natural-economic accounting corresponds to natural-economic systems, economic statistics – to industrial-market systems, and socio-temporal statistics – to information-network systems, which are currently being formed. Scientific provisions concerning a wide range of problems of economic development and statistics, monetary systems, viral-trigger nature of modern socio-economic dynamics, features of reproduction processes, the role of trust in statistics, etc. are considered. A positive conclusion is made regarding the characteristics in the monograph of the main features of the new statistical paradigm. Keywords:
