LIFE PATH OF PROFESSOR ANATOLII PORUCHNYK, THE INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIST, FOUNDER OF THE POST-GRADUATE BUSINESS STUDY IN UKRAINE

The life path of one of the lead international scientists of Ukraine, doctor of economics, professor, honored master of sciences and engineering of Ukraine Anatolii Poruchnyk, who passed away at the end of the year is highlighted. A. Poruchnyk was notable for his natural aptitude thanks to which after leaving school with honors in the Volyn region and later the faculty of economics of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv in 1972 he made a brilliant professional career in one of the leading economic educational institutions of Ukraine Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman. The inspired work, discipline, and individual responsibility were a thing of A. Poruchnyk in all positions from post-degree student up to the head of the department of international economics, the founder and one and only director of Institute of Business Education one of the first and leading business schools of Ukraine, the national and international award winner.
A. Poruchnyk was co-founder of the national academic school “Global competition leadership”, in which more than 12 doctoral theses and more than 60 PhD theses were defended, more than 220 research papers, in particular 30 collective and individual monographs, 15 college textbooks, many research articles on the problems of modern world economic development in Ukrainian and foreign languages, which are recognized in the world were published. The special place got the publication of the fundamental textbook in English and Ukrainian “International Economics” by A. Poruchnyk coauthored with D. Lukianenko and Ya. Stoliarchuk. The crucial part of A. Poruchnyk in the founding of Institute of Business Education in Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman, which serves as a model of the successful modern post-graduate and advance training institution in Ukraine upon the experience of leading world business schools is defined.
